call for proposals: exhibition opportunities

SCA Project (facilitated by SCA Gallery) is currently seeking proposals from emerging and established contemporary artists to exhibit. The proposals may include and go beyond the usual aspects of contemporary exhibitions: painting, sculpture, photography, performance art, interactive media, video or installation art.

The approximately 2,500 square foot gallery space is located in the historical Founders Building in the heart of the Pomona Art Colony, which is approximately 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.

SCA Gallery was established in 1999 as a non-profit organization and has been one of the leading art venues featuring contemporary arts in Pomona. Through the SCA Project, this non-profit Gallery expands its mission of showing work by artists†dedicated to creating and to communicating their innovative ideas through art.

All approved projects, which are submitted by independent curators and/or organizing artists, must be self-produced and coincide with operational guidelines already established by SCA Project.

The venue will be available for 4-week exhibitions that should open on the second Saturday of each month concurrent with the typically held Second Saturday Art Walk in the Pomona Art Colony.

Independent curators and organizing artists may contact:,

Bob Pece, SCAPG Curator at: scaprojectgallery@gmail.com
